Peter Rocks aka “Mister Rocks” is a Los Angeles based musician, music producer, mix engineer, disk jockey and music enthusiast. His weapons of choice are his notorious collection of analog synths, vintage keyboards and drum machines, guitars, wires, and music boxes, which aide him in developing sounds for artists, films and advertisements. He believes in both the classic and the modern arts of recording, engineering and music production, and believes that good music will always prevail if recorded and produced properly. His work with Homestyle shot him unlikely acclaim in 1999 as he played keyboards and began to produce for local LA-based artists. Peter developed as a producer and engineer at LA’s Cherokee Recording Studios, where he learned under Andy Johns. Afterwards, he worked in several other studios, including Hollywood’s elite Fourth Street Recording Studio.
As his own abilities continued to germinate, he became a member of the Recording Academy’s Producers and Engineers Wing, and in 2002, founded Soniq Kwality Productions, a music production company committed to delivering fresh artistic and technical direction for today’s music market.
In 2006, Peter began touring worldwide with Quannum recording artist, Pigeon John. It was then when he would meet and work with heavy musical acts across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe. It was then he would solidify himself as a touring keyboardist and music director.
A year later, using just a simple microKorg and an MS-2000 with a few pedals, Peter began to tour with Interscope/Cherrytree recording artists, FAR EAST MOVEMENT, who shot to critical acclaim for their #1 US single “Like a G6.”
Recognizing his gift in various genres, from R&B, hip-hop, pop, rock to electronic, and film scoring. Publisher’s have placed Peter’s music various films, which lead to him to create original music for Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks Animation.
In 2011, Peter expanded his watch as he began writing and producing for the Korean music industry. He wrote, produced and engineered several tracks for Jungle Entertainment’s M.I.B, (Most Incredible Busters) and currently is working with various K-Pop artists.

CLIFF BEACH (Writer/ Vocal Arranger & Vocal Producer)
Cliff Beach is a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and front-man for his project “The Cliff Beach Experience”. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Cliff infuses funk, soul, and rhythm & blues with his own unique style, featuring searing vocals, and sparse, seductive piano-driven riffs, to elevate his audience to a funkier stream of consciousness. The consummate performer and all around entertainer, Cliff’s music reminds many of Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone and James Brown and is sure to inject fun into the souls of all who see him perform.
The Cliff Beach Experience’s recent performance on El Segundo TV’s: Music Box won a STAR Award in June 2012. Cliff also writes for other artists, most notably co-writing for K-pop singing group M.I.B. on “Complicated” with producer Mister Rocks in 2011. Cliff also lends his background and lead vocals in the tropical-rock group Noble Creatures. Cliff is currently a semi-finalist in the Be Heard Artist Showcase which will be held on August 24th at 7pm at The Grammy Museum @ LA Live in Downtown LA. The Cliff Beach Experience was a featured band with Koffeehouse/ BMI at their August 2010 Harvelle’s Showcase in Santa Monica, CA. KEVIN BARTLEY (Mastering Engineer)
Kevin Bartley is a veteran mastering engineer and has been with Capitol Studios, Hollywood for over seventeen years. He has worked with Mister Rocks for over eight years, and has nearly mastered most of his projects.
Kevin grew up in Long Beach California, where he became entrenched in the west coast “post punk/alternative” music scene throughout the mid to late eighties. During this period, he played guitar and sang lead vocals as a member of the band Sixtieth Parallel, which rode the CMJ College and Commercial Top 100 charts in 1989.
He majored in music and continued his recording arts studies at UCLA before landing a job at Capitol Records.
Initially hired to assist with the reorganization of the Capitol-EMI tape archive, he was eventually promoted into a role as a production engineer for Capitol Mastering, where he continued to develop and fine-tune his skills as a mastering engineer.
His passion for the spirit of the independent artist can be heard on recent projects such as Ryan Bingham and The Henry Clay People. He has also mastered such iconic rock artists as Motörhead, Pennywise, Blondie, Dee Dee Ramone, Social Distortion, and The Smithereens to name a few. After seventeen years at Capitol Records, he has made his mark on hundreds of albums including RIAA platinum and gold awarded releases.

EDWARD SHIN (ASSISTANT ENGINEER)
Edward Shin is an Assistant Engineer who is currently working his way to being a full fledged producer and Song Writer. He is currently aiding Mister Rocks in the studio and helping clients with tracking and mixing. Edward has been working for Mister Rocks for a good 4 months and plans to continue doing so.
Edward was born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles for over 18 years. He has taught himself basic Music theory and education, growing up in LA, which led to him to pursue a career in the field of Music and Recording Technology. He graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI with a B.A. in Music Composition and Theory. Edward now supports his church by assisting the praise band as a Sound Technician while still working hard in the studio.
